Mother's Day Butterfly Campaign

Our Butterfly Campaign 2018

April 15 - June 30, 2018

Welcome to our annual Butterfly donation Campaign drive.  Every time a woman reaches out to Interval House we know she is not only looking out for herself, but also for her child. Women tell us the choices they make as mothers are because of their children and the desire to raise them in safe homes free from abuse and violence.

Mother’s Day is recognized and celebrated once a year in May. Your gift to this campaign will help assist women and their children every day. Your gift can help save and change lives because on any given day in Canada, more than 3,300 women (along with their 3,000 children) are forced to sleep in an emergency shelter to escape domestic violence, and every night, about 200 women are turned away because the shelters are full.

Our temporary emergency shelter for women and their children operated at 113% capacity last year.  This exceeded our funding provisions and we were at a shortfall. We need your support.

Thank you for your donation in support of saving and changing the lives of women and their children.

THIS YEAR WE ARE SO PROUD TO BE SUPPORTED BY BARRY'S JEWELLERS, 730 UPPER JAMES STREET HAMILTON!

Please go to our general donations page and select MOTHER’S DAY CAMPAIGN from the drop-down menu.

Thank you for your support.
